The Visalia Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a catalyst, convener and champion of local business by continuing to provide valuable resources, programs and initiatives to local businesses and the community.

The Visalia chamber launched its Loyal to Local campaign prior to COVID-19. However, we knew that the campaign would be vital during the pandemic to support local businesses. From T-shirt sales benefiting local charities, members supporting one another to take-out and holiday shopping, we thank all who continue to shop, eat and support #LoyalToLocal.

As was announced in March, on the anniversary of the start of the pandemic, the chamber is excited to host the Loyal to Local Awards on June 10. We are proud to represent, advocate for and boast of our local business community. The awards will be used to highlight local businesses that have shown great creativity and resiliency during the past year. The public can nominate a local business by visiting Nominations are accepted until April 12.

This year’s IMPACT Leadership Conference will take place on Wednesday, April 21. The hybrid conference will provide the essential opportunity for business owners and employees in our community and beyond to participate in quality leadership and workforce training. The conference will kick off with a morning pep talk by Executive Coach Justin Patton and will conclude with motivational speaker Rebecca Heiss, CEO/founder of Biologic Balance. Throughout the day, attendees will be able to participate in breakout sessions presented by local industry experts and community leaders. The full conference schedule, breakout session topics and more can be found at Tickets are available until April 19.

Be sure to save the date! On May 1, our Jr. CEO spring students will open their businesses across town on Jr. CEO Orange Juice Day. Students who participated in the five-week digital program had the opportunity to learn the basics of starting their own business around the concept of an orange juice stand. Course topics included business fundamentals, cost models, safety and food prep, marketing and customer service, and money management. A printable map will be available on the chamber’s website: Please come out and support our Jr. CEOs.
