Santa Magic

Jingle Bells Run for Toys for Tots

Run/Walk the 5K-timed course or enjoy the 2-Mile Walk non-timed course through Mooney Grove Park. Bring a new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots and receive a Santa hat.

Christmas Fun Run

When: Thursday, Dec. 16

Where: Sole 2 Soul Sports, 4241 S. Mooney Blvd.

Don your jingle bells and festive running attire and join Santa for a Christmas fun run. All elves in attendance will receive FREE cookies and coffee. Bring a wrapped Christmas ornament if you’d like to participate in an ornament exchange. Bring a friend … all are welcome!

2021 Tulare Children’s Christmas Parade

When: Thursday, Dec. 2

Where: Downtown Tulare

Themed “Prancer’s Pajama Party,” this event will have food vendors, hot chocolate and cookies before the parade starts. The tree lighting will take place at K Street and Tulare Avenue.


Frozen in the Park

When: Saturday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m.

Where: Del Lago Park in Tulare

Bring the kids to share hot cocoa and a cookie with Santa and his elf. Create a snowflake and make a Christmas wish with Elsa & Anna. Stay for the storytelling, sing-along and dancing.


2021 Bus House Light Tour

When: Mid-December

Where: Mid-Tulare

Board the bus for a night tour viewing Christmas-decorated homes. Guests will view the best of houses nominated in the city and can add to the list. The tour will include a break at Starbucks downtown.




Country Christmas at Ford Farms 

When: Dec. 4, 11 and 28

Where: 22827 Road 180

Enjoy a family fun country Christmas event on the farm. There will be a petting zoo, meet the Grinch, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by so you can take photos with them. There will be food, vendors, crafts for the kids and more. Visit their website for more information:




Hanford Ice Rink

When: Through Jan. 9

Where: Civic Park 400 N. Douty St., Hanford

The ice rink will be open seven days a week, and guests can enjoy ice skating, food vendors, hot cocoa, photos with Santa, live entertainment, full bar (Thursday-Saturday), activities for the whole family and more.
